Mark Everett former child star now Benitez is DEAD, shot to death in an El Monte restaurant bathroom during a hostage standoff.

He went also by the names of Mike Evers, Manuel Velasco, and Manuel De Velasco, according to the FBI’s Web site.

As a child actor, he started in movies “Stand and Deliver” and “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.” In tv he appeared in “Galactica 1980″ and “Highway to Heaven.” Benitez was a fugitive for the June 21, 2004 murder of then girlfriend Stephanie Spears.

Mark Everett is dead. Mark Everett is also known as Manuel Benitez. He was a child star. Mark is one of America's most wanted men. The LA County Officers killed him at a restaurant. He had a hostage who was 7 years old, and according to reports it was his very own son.

Flashbang grenade from the police blinded Benitez and later he was killed after the exchange of shots. The hostage was safe. Manuel "Mark Everett" Benitez was also allegedly involved in the death of his girlfriend Stephanie Spears with a dumbell (remember this story?) 4 years back.
